Twilight

I just want to say sorry to anyone who has tried to contact me this last week. Yes I have become the next victim of the Twilight series. Ugg... I thought, oh what is all the fuss about. So I decided to read Twilight to see. And I am hooked. My poor family, so neglected. hehe I guess I am just a sap for the romance. Now before you go make any comments, be very careful. I am only at the end of the 3rd book and I am rooting for Edward. I swear I will burn these books if they are not tegether at the end. K do you see how crazy I am right now. Wanting the vampire to win. hehe Of course the other option is a warewolf. What am I reading.... ;) So don't go giving anything away. I just need someone to tell me I am not crazy for being obsessed. I will let you know if I have any books to give back in a couple days. If it takes me that long.

You're not crazy. I've read all four books plus the other novel she wrote The Host which was a hard read at first but got better. That one has a twist that you might like. Book four of the Twilight series is good but be forewarned there are parts that are graphic to the mind. I think she went a little far with explaining some things. You will see. I enjoyed it for the most part but some could be better left for the imagination.

Even though I couldn't understand THAT MUCH hype after I read the first two, I seriously couldn't stop thinking about it! I would find myself thinking about it at the most random times. I think that's how they reel you in. It's not that it's so well written, it's the overall intriguing story. So I read book 3, and that was my very favorite one. I am in the middle of 4 right now also. But 3 is still my favorite. Did you know that she has a website with all kinds of good stuff on it. There is another book that she started but it got leaked before she finished it. From Edward's perspective. And she has a playlist for each book. They are kind of interesting I thought. But most of it isn't my kind of music.

It was so nice to see you today! I'm really starting to love this blog thing...it makes keeping in touch so easy! The boys are so handsome and getting so big. Tell Micha hello.

Seriously, each book is like a 12 hour read. And that's WITH interruptions! I was like you, I read it because I wanted to be the one to hate it. Of course the exact opposite happened, but I ended up loving the first book. The first and third were my favorite. 2 and 4...not so much. We just had book club at my house where we talked about all 4 and it was very interesting to hear everybody's take. I wish you could have been here!
Anyway, the movie is coming out Nov 21 so a bunch of us women are going to see it. Is that so sad? I think we'll end up taking up an entire row in the theater.
Also, I know you don't want anything else to read, but Stephanie Mayer was writing a draft called Midnight Sun, which is Edward's take from the first book. The manuscript got leaked so she's postponed it indefinitely. So sad, because I got online and read it from her website and I got hooked all over again!!! It's 250 pages that I read, ON THE COMPUTER, for a couple of hours. I didn't even realize that I'd sat in the chair for hours! It's that good! Anyway, check it out when you've calmed down from the other 4. i remember feeling so relieved that it was over!

I hear good things about these books, but I haven't read them yet. My mom keeps passing me hers but they just sit there. Maybe I'm afraid I will like them? Who knows. Have fun with the other 3!
